The team’s remarkable performance in the SAFF Championship saw them ascend one spot to secure the 99th position in the latest FIFA chart. The SAFF Championship, held in Bengaluru earlier this month, witnessed India’s triumph against formidable opponents, Lebanon and Kuwait, in the semifinal and final matches, respectively. The team showcased their resilience and determination, clinching victories through thrilling penalty shootouts. Meanwhile, Kuwait displayed significant progress, moving up four places to occupy the 137th position in the FIFA chart.
